Golfing guys

My dad, Thomas and Cody had a 'guys day out' and went golfing. From what I hear, Cody's favorite thing about golfing is driving the golf cart. Anyone surprised?

A girls weekend

Autumn and Christy (two of my girlfriends from college) came to visit this last weekend. We had a nice time catching up. Autumn brought her 3 girls and Cody and Noah enjoyed having kids to play with. Here are picts from the weekend:
Us three girls:
Autumn and Maren. Maren is about 5 weeks younger than Noah.

These are all 5 of our kids. It's impossible to get that many kids to cooperate at once.

Zoo

We went to the zoo today! I got an annual pass to the zoo from my dad for my birthday and we made good use of it today! We had a good time (except for the part when it poured rain for about 30 minutes.)
They have a temporary exhibit of sting rays that you can 'pet'. Cody wasn't too sure he wanted to touch them and though I tried to get him to put his hand in the water, he never got close enough to touch one.
I did though. -And I thought it was pretty cool.
Looking at the sting rays:

Can you see the size of these fish? They're huge!

More Standing and Bathtime Fun

Here is Noah. He's been pulling himself up on whatever he can find. He'll be walking soon! This time last month, he couldn't even get into a sitting position if he was laying down! Where did my baby go?

Bathtime is always fun for both boys. I'm not sure what Cody is being here...
other than silly of course!
Well, I didn't get many shots of them both looking at the camera, so you'll have to ignore the 'deer in the headlights' look!
I love my brother:

Getting Around

Noah has been on the move these days! He has started pulling up onto his feet in his crib! This morning I found him underneath his exersaucer! He apparently had no problem getting in, but couldn't get out! We're having to keep an extra close eye on him!

Standing up: And what's with the tounge? He sticks it out ALL the time!

When I got him out of the exersaucer, he turned around and tried to get right back in! Silly boy!

Oh, and I have to tell you this story:

Noah is at that stage where he puts everything in his mouth. He had a piece of paper yesterday and was about to eat it. Cody is such a good big brother that he took the paper away from him and was going to throw it away. Well, Noah started to cry becuase Cody took his paper. As Cody walked away, he said "Noah, I love you too much to argue with you!"
It was so funny! That's what we say to Cody when he starts to argue with us. My kids are so much fun!

The Month of June

I took several of pictures last month. I just didn't post them weekly like I should have. So I'm going to give them to you all at once.

Noah has been trying to pull up. He can get to his knees-but not quite on his feet yet. He doesn't ever want to lay down anymore now that he can crawl and get into a sitting position by himself. He can be SO tired and he still wants to be up where he can see what's going on.

Cody and his cars...
My smiley baby:

Cody and his cars again...
So this one might need explaining. While I normally don't allow my children to play with store merchandise, I couldn't resist taking this picture. I was in Ross looking at curtains and Cody was behind me and he says "Look mom, I'm a lamp"!
Cody and his cars... (he likes the real one to play in the best)
We got a 'cousin picture' when Robin was in town. It is so hard to get 4 kids to look at the camera at the same time!

Great-grandparents!

Cody and Noah's great-grandparents and uncle came to visit us. Robin and her sweet babies came too! They had fun with all of their great-grandsons.

Look at Noah trying to help feed the baby!

Cody had a good time throwing the football with his Uncle Ricky. (When he wasn't playing in the car) Sometimes he caught the ball...
Sometimes he didn't...
